We hope this update finds our students, their families, and friends well.
On March 30, Governor Tom Wolf and the PA Department of Education have ordered all schools to be closed "Indefinitely" to save lives and stop the spread of COVID-19.
What we believe this means is, up until March 30th, the date of April 6th was the official date listed that schools may reopen. Given that most health officials predicted we hit the peak of COVID-19 sometime in mid-April, the April 6th reopen date was not achievable. Instead of setting a new arbitrary date without knowing what would occur over the April time frame, they had decided not to specify a new date.
At this point and under the best-case scenario, it appears the earliest things may be permitted to reopen is the beginning of May.
Given the fluidity of the situation, we ask that you continue to monitor this web page for further updates.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate this unprecedented time together.
Thank you again, and please stay safe, stay calm, and stay at home!
